Educational Grants for Children

Every year, The MacRobert Trust awards educational grants to deserving pupils in independent Scottish secondary schools.

Exceptional provision is made for pupils at two English schools, Oundle and Cranleigh, where Lady MacRobert’s sons spent their schooldays.

The grants are designed to help pupils who are at, or who are reaching, a critical stage in their education and whose progress is at risk because of domestic circumstances such as bereavement, illness or other special circumstances.

The Trust’s Education Adviser, Roy de C Chapman, administers the scheme and applications should come from the Head of the school that the pupil attends or wishes to attend.
