The Horticulture Training Scheme is aimed at new entrants to horticulture, and current or recently qualified horticulture students looking for practical experience.
Whilst previous horticulture experience or qualifications are not prerequisites to apply, you will need to demonstrate real enthusiasm and commitment in order to be selected.
Trainees are expected to be hands on, working a seasonally adjusted forty-hour week (8am to 5pm in summer and 8am to 4pm in winter) for a minimum of twelve months.
Shared accommodation is provided in a fully furnished estate cottage situated within one of our tenanted working farms, close to the gardens. The village of Tarland is nearby.
