The MacRobert Legacy

Since Lady MacRobert made that first donation to the RAF to purchase “MacRobert’s Reply”, The MacRobert Trust has created a lasting legacy that encompasses far more than just extensive donations to charity.

In addition to the charitable work taking place at Douneside House and on the wider estate, we have also endowed a series of prestigious awards, prizes and scholarships in engineering, military training, civil aviation training and agriculture, and donated substantial sums to help build many significant buildings across Scotland that now bear the MacRobert family name.
